College Student Mental Health

College can be an exciting time—but it can also bring intense pressures and demands all at once. Navigating academics, social life, and the process of discovering who you are can feel overwhelming.

I deeply value providing a supportive, steady relationship for college students, meeting as often as needed to help manage stress and build resilience. My background is rooted in college counseling centers, where I loved working closely with students. When my caseload grew too large to offer consistent weekly support, I chose private practice so I could prioritize quality, ongoing care tailored to each student’s unique journey

I also believe in partnering with colleges when needed, helping students access accommodations or connecting with academic advisors or deans to advocate for the support they deserve..

ADHD Assessment for Adults

Understanding whether you have ADHD can be a vital step toward managing your focus, energy, and daily challenges with more clarity and support.

After this, we’ll meet for a one-hour debrief session to review the results together, discuss what they mean, and consider recommended next steps tailored to your needs.

The assessment process begins with a free consultation appointment, where we discuss your questions and decide if the evaluation is the right next step for you. If we move forward, the assessment includes a 2–3 hour clinical interview to explore your history and symptoms in depth. You’ll also complete several questionnaires on your own, and whenever possible, an observer—such as a parent or partner—will provide additional input through similar assessments.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) can bring unwanted intrusive thoughts, images, or feelings that feel overwhelming or distressing. Many people with OCD feel alone and afraid, but it’s important to know that OCD is much more common than it’s often talked about.

Together, we’ll gently identify these experiences and explore the compulsions—whether they are thought patterns, behaviors, or habits—that you feel driven to perform.

Exposure is a key part of effective OCD treatment, but it’s always done with your full agency and at a pace you feel ready for. You remain in control of what you choose to face and when. My role is to support you in understanding this process deeply, so you gain confidence and empowerment to manage OCD symptoms as they arise.

In addition to addressing the core OCD symptoms, we also work on related challenges such as feelings of shame and overall anxiety, creating a holistic approach to healing and growth.

Anxiety

Anxiety can feel like a constant hum of worry or a sudden wave that takes over your mind and body. I believe it’s essential to approach anxiety with compassion and curiosity, rather than judgment or pressure to simply “make it stop.”

In our work together, we look at the full context of what’s driving your anxiety. Sometimes anxiety arises when other feelings—like sadness, anger, or grief—haven’t had space to be expressed. Other times, anxiety is connected to past trauma, showing up as nervous system responses like hypervigilance or sudden panic. And for some people, an active, sensitive nervous system naturally brings more frequent experiences of nervous energy.

Whatever the cause, therapy offers a space to slow down and understand your anxiety with care. We can explore and express the feelings beneath the surface, as well as learn practical ways to soothe and settle your nervous system. My goal is to help you feel more empowered, resilient, and connected to yourself.

Mental Health Support for Women & Femmes

Women often carry so much—expectations, responsibilities, and unspoken worries—through every stage of life. As a mother myself, I’m passionate about providing a safe, affirming space for women navigating motherhood, infertility, postpartum depression, relationship challenges, the complexities of divorce or redefining who you are.

Whether you are adjusting to a new role, grieving a loss, questioning your relationship, or rediscovering yourself after a major change, therapy can offer room to process, heal, and grow at your own pace. Together, we can explore your experiences with compassion, strengthen your resilience, and help you feel more connected to who you are and what you need.

Affirmative Therapy

I believe therapy should be a place where all parts of who you are are welcomed and respected. I am committed to creating a space that honors diversity in all its forms, including race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, spirituality, and neurodiversity.

I don’t presume to fully know anyone’s experiences, but I am always open to listening and learning. My hope is that you feel truly seen, valued, and supported as the whole person you are. Together, we can explore your story in a space of curiosity, compassion, and respect.
